The Excuse Me! Let Me Speak workshop is divided up into two six week sessions. Your child will learn how to effectively communicate with teachers, students, and adults. The workshop will build your child’s confidence as it helps to develop his or her listening skills.

The program utilizes poetry, art, music, role-play, interviewing techniques, film and photography to help children build their self-esteem and self-confidence. Each child will learn how to evaluate others, offer and receive constructive feedback, do research, how to speak impromptu, and so much more.

At the end of the 12 weeks there is a public speaking contest and graduation.

The Excuse Me! Let Me Speak… staff are currently designing additional programs and resources to help your child become a powerful orator.

In 2010 we will have a leadership workshop designed to help your child become a leader. Part of being a leader is knowing how to come along side your staff, how to support and encourage them, how to listen effectively, and how to serve. Our leadership program will equip your child to be a serving leader–so your child can experience the joys of leadership.
